1. What is a safelist?

Safelists are online *communities* comprised of people who joined them for the specific purpose of advertising to all other members of each specific safelist. By joining, you also agree to receive all other members' advertising messages.

2. Do safelists really work?

Yes, credit based safelists like ours work very well to help you attract new subscribers and/or customers. Members earn credits when they view other members' ads, so you have a guaranteed audience!

3. How does the regular mailer work?

The standard mailer gives no incentive for other members to read your ads and have been proven to be a lot less effective than our credit mailer. We want your ads to be VIEWED, therefore, eMarketSafelist does not offer this type of mailer.

4. How does the credit based mailer work?

With the credit based mailer you can email your ads to the entire safelist up to 3 times a day (depending on membership level) as long as you have credits left. This feature allows you to save your credits and use them whenever you want to.

5. What is 1 credit worth?
1 credit is 1 member of the list you can send your ads to.

6. How can I earn credits?

You can earn credits by referring others to eMarketSafelist and by clicking on the special credit links in the email messages you receive from our members.

7. What is the Ad Rotation System (ARS)?

It is a system that rotates banners and text ads on every eMarketSafelist webpage. You can see an example of this at the end of these FAQs.

8. How does the Ad Rotation System work?

When you add your banner or text ad to ARS, it will be put in rotation with the ads of other members and be randomly displayed on the site every time a page is loaded.

9. Who can use the ARS?

Every member of the eMarketSafelist.

10. What does it cost for my ad to be displayed?

It will cost you 1-3 mailing credits (depending on membership level) for every ad or banner impression you get.

11. What kind of banners or ads can I display with ARS?

You can display any ad or banner as long as it doesn't violate the ARS terms.

12. Is it easy to manage all the email I'll be getting?

Yes!  When your safelist advertising activity is set up properly and organized, it's very easy to maintain!
